About Us

We are a small independent studio offering a variety of services including:

The Studio has been in Warwick for over 14 years encouraging, inspiring and motivating clients to lead a healthy balanced lifestyle.
We aim to be friendly, approachable and knowledgeable making us effective in helping you to achieve your goals

We address the requirements of both your mind and body. Our therapists can help you to reduce stress, gain confidence, or resolve emotional issues. Or, from a physical perspective, they could guide you to get rid of backache, improve your fitness, look slimmer, boost energy, etc…

The Studio has 9 instructors who together have a wealth of experience. Each one takes a slightly different approach so one of them is sure to suit you. The Studio has Counsellors, Soft Tissue Therapists, Holistic Therapists and Massage Practitioners for emotional and hands on treatments

None of our classes are ordinary and none of our classes have more than 8 participants.

Anne is the studio owner, having established it in 2003. She has been in the fitness industry for 30 years and has a wealth of experience backed up by up to date training. She is a member of REPs at Level 4 and Regional Director of the Sport Massage Association (Eastern Region)

Class Size
The Studio classes are small and friendly with a maximum class size of 8.

Class Format
We believe that the best way to get results is by attending on a regular basis. This enables you to get to know both your class colleagues and your instructor as well as improving your technique and well being. We recognise that a social element is important in gaining the most benefit from a group class so there is often some 'chat', especially at the beginning of many classes. We also recognise the importance of relaxation and mindfulness and this is included in specific selected classes.
We encourage you to input to the session and be interactive with your instructor. This ensures we obtain the best results for each individual within a class environment.

Class Booking
We operate a booking system to enable you to guarantee your place each week. Classes can be booked individually, or in blocks of 5, 10 or 20. There is flexibility within this so if you have dates you can't make, do let us know at least a week in advance and we can offer your place to someone else.

If you prefer to book on a week by week basis simply register to receive the weekly newsletter which lists the following weeks availability.

You can purchase a block without specifying dates if that suits your schedule enabling you to take advantage of the discounted class rate yet maximising flexibility. You can check our availability page to see which classes were available at the last update, but text or ring Anne to check "up to the minute" availability and then visit our payment page to pay.

Tailor Made First Aid
Our First Aid Training sister company offers a variety of 'tailor made' first aid courses from 2hr courses covering emergency situations faced by parents to full day courses for the workplace. Contact us for details.

Mercede's next Mum's and Babies course will run in January for 5 weeks. Cost is £45 and places limited to 4 - at the time of writing there a couple of places still available.
It is suitable for new mums or mums to be and will cover postural issues, abdominal separation and pelvic floor work. Should you wish to have a group session for yourself and a couple of friends a time can be arranged. Contact us to arrange this.

Back Pain Clinic, including Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs
We have specifically designed these clinics to help with low back pain of all intensities. The research behind "Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs" was funded by the British Arthritis Association and is endorsed by The British Wheel of Yoga. Our back pain clinic includes an educational element so you can understand more about the causes and solutions to your back pain. Places limited to 6 so booking ahead is recommended. A manual, CD, exercise band and online support is available.

Pilates is a form of exercise combining flexibility, endurance training, body awareness, breathing and relaxation. The exercises are a series of controlled movements using the deep stabilising muscles of the body, which are often neglected in traditional fitness training.

We have four forms of Pilates here at the Studio:
“I Move Freely” Pilates with Anne or Mercede.
All Woman” Pilates with Mercede.
Pre/Post Natal Pilates” with Mercede.
Conditioning Pilates with Kimberley.

Yoga are the physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines that aim to transform body and mind. The term denotes a variety of schools and is derived from the literal meaning of "yoking together" a span of horses or oxen, but came to be applied to the "yoking" of mind and body.

Spiritual goals or Mindfulness can be used to help relieve pain and stress and the physical postures of yoga help to keep the body supple.

Ante/Post Natal - Fit4Mums

Exercising can have a remarkable impact on you in the prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal periods. This impact can be both positive and negative, so it is essential that you talk to a qualified instructor about which exercises are beneficial at which times. Both Anne and Mercede are qualified in this area and are Mums, so they will have plenty of advice for you. For more details on this see our Fit4Mums page.

Exercise for Older Adults - Fit4Grans

Like it or not we all get older, and as we get older we are more likely to have problems and/or pain with one sort of movement or another. That doesn’t mean that we should avoid exercise, in fact it becomes more important that we do some sort of exercise. The phrase “use it or lose it” becomes increasingly more applicable as we age past 40 and critical as we pass 65. It is never too late to start exercising but it is imperative that you do the right sort of exercise in the correct manner.

We provide a large variety of soft tissue therapy, including Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Myofacial Release, Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Indian Head Massage, Hot Stone Massage and Aromatherapy. Life and Confidence Coaching

Life coaching is something which we feel can be beneficial in achieving a healthy lifestyle. Emotional health is as important as physical health and our coaches can work with you and our exercise professionals to help you get your life on track. Back Pain Clinic

Our Back Pain Clinic includes the clinically proven Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs Programme promoting Education, Exercise and Relaxation to help you to manage and reduce your back pain.

Did you know that:
  • The latest NICE guidelines recognise the benefits to patients of group exercise .
  • Patients who regularly attend group exercise can reduce their pain medication.
  • Yoga classes are one of the suggested groups.
  • It has been demonstrated by clinical trials that a specific modified Yoga programme has a beneficial effect on patients with lower back pain.
  • Some Yoga (and Pilates) exercises can increase back pain
  • Yoga/Pilates teachers are not usually specialists in the management of back pain.
  • To be successful in managing back pain the exercise programme needs to be for life.

At the Studio Warwick Anne has specific qualifications in:
  • GP referral - exercise for specific controlled conditions including arthritis and osteoporosis.
  • Exercise for Older Adults.
  • Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs.
  • Exercise to manage lower back pain.

The clinic format provides an educational presentation followed by exercise and relaxation.

Once you attend on a regular basis you will get access to our online videos to encourage you to exercise and relax at home, on a daily basis together with videos of the presentations so you can refresh your understanding of how to manage your back pain.
